Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America Debuts New High Density DX-TL4700 Series Digital Video Recorders at ASIS

New line of feature-packed, JPEG 2000 digital video recorders boast fast recording speed of 240 frames per second

ASIS International 2007 — Las Vegas, Nevada, September 24, 2007 — Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Imaging Products Division today introduces the new DX-TL4700U Series digital video recorders including the new DX-TL4716U 16-channel unit and the DX-TL4709U 9-channel versions. Both feature high-density recording of up to 240 pictures per second, JPEG2000 image quality and the industry-leading security system reliability for which Mitsubishi DVRs have become known. Underscoring this performance superiority and the reliability of the new DX-TL4700U Series, Mitsubishi is extending its industry-exclusive 5-year limited warranty to the line. The Company is also including the DX-TL4700U Series under its Express Replacement Assistance (ERA) Program that provides security professionals with 24-hour product replacement in the event of malfunction.

The Mitsubishi Digital DX-TL4709U enables live view of 540 PPS live and 240 PPS record. The DX-TL4716U provides live refresh rates of 960 PPS live and 240 record while dual multiplexer outputs allow simultaneous live/record on two monitors. Both units can be programmed and managed via an easy-to-learn, highly intuitive interface and feature auto set-up for automated programming and built-in network for remote view and programming.

The DX-TL4700U Series offers an array of search options, multiple HDD options and advanced motion detection using up to 418 detection dots. Other standard features include Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) control of dome cameras plus an integrated CD/DVD drive and USB port for easy copying.
