RIVERDALE, NEW JERSEY - At the 2006 NSCA Expo in Las Vegas, Middle Atlantic Products named Applied Technologies Group, Inc. (ATGI) of Asheville, North Carolina its 2005 AV-Commercial Rep of the Year. Making the announcement, Bill Poling, Sales Director, Middle Atlantic Products, highlighted the group's remarkable ability to deliver beyond the traditional definition of a manufacturer's independent rep firm.

"In this highly competitive industry, ATGI has proven that they are capable of setting high performance standards and exceeding them," said Poling. "Bob Edsall's leadership combined with his company's remarkable understanding of the industry and their commitment to providing the best service possible made ATGI an obvious choice for our Rep of the Year Award. ATGI's success this past year is a testament to their hard work and their understanding of systems integrators' needs."

Founded in 1978, ATGI conducts sales in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. ATGI became part of the Middle Atlantic Products team in 1988. ATGI's manufacturer roster also includes Allen & Heath, Altec Lansing Professional, HM Electronics, Hosa, QSC Audio, Roland System Group and Symetrix.

Their state-of-the-art enclosure systems give us a comprehensive solution set for such a wide range of applications. I would like to thank Michael Baker and his entire staff for making Middle Atlantic Products such an easy and enjoyable company to represent, and I would also like to thank my entire (most excellent!) staff, and our incredible network of integrators, dealers and distributors without whom this award would not be possible."

Anthony Papamichael (VP), David Emory, Tommy DuBose, Steve Land and Tom Stotler join Bob Edsall as the field sales team, inside support staff includes Charmaine Colosimo, Pamela Kluttz and Stefan Colosimo. For exceeding quota, ATGI also joins this year's Middle Atlantic Products President's Club, an illustrious gathering of the finest rep firms in the United States marketplace which also included Sigmet Corporation, Ouzunoff & Associates, Pearson & Pearson and Sound Marketing.

Mike Baker, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Middle Atlantic Products, also acknowledged ATGI's ability to perform in such a dynamic, competitive industry. "More frequently, we are seeing a need for manufacturer's rep firms to possess a solid understanding of how systems integrators use and install our products in the field. And we're proud to say that we have a very hard working, efficient sales rep force that understands this and is working to make the job of every systems integrator easier. Nowhere was this more evident than with the ATGI team. They have impressed us with their drive, determination and overall performance and we look forward to another successful year with Bob and his entire team."

At its annual sales meeting on Thursday, March 16th, Middle Atlantic Products also announced its 2005 Most Improved Territory Award winner: Sigmet Corporation of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
