Kits give customers easy access to complete, pre-packaged surveillance options

LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 7, 2007 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today introduced the SnapPak Camera/Housing Kits, which contain cameras and lenses, complete with pre-assembled sunshields, heaters and blowers in single boxes for easy ordering and installation. Seven pre-packaged kits with various combinations of cameras and lenses make it easy for customers to order everything they need for a complete installation.

In addition to offering a choice of lenses, the SnapPak Camera/Housing Kits include lengths of liquid-tight flex conduits, liquid-tight connectors, outdoor junction boxes with blank face plates, transformers, power and video cables, and all the necessary mounting hardware. The kits also incorporate Honeywell's new L-Series cameras, which include two black and white cameras that can be used with infrared illumination for increased low-light sensitivity, as well as two color cameras and a True Day/Night model with a manual exposure mode in which the shutter speed can be set to a constant value. The black and white models and the True Day/Night cameras can also use external infrared illumination to improve low-light sensitivity in dark applications. These features make the L-Series a cost-effective surveillance solution for general outdoor applications, and customers will appreciate the quick installation and setup, sharper video images and reduced picture interference.

"We're excited to offer the new SnapPak Kits," said Peter Simmons, product manager, Honeywell. "By incorporating the new L-Series cameras into the kits, we're providing our customers with cutting-edge surveillance solutions that are simple to order, easy to install and even easier to maintain."

Honeywell's SnapPak Camera/Housing Kits are designed for applications where ease of installation and setup of the camera system are primary concerns. The kits are best utilized in normal or low-light conditions where object detection and object recognition are required.

Honeywell will demonstrate the L-Series cameras at ISC West 2007. For more information, visit www.honeywellvideo.com.
