GE Security Showcases Total Security and Enterprise Solutions

BRADENTON, FLA. – GE’s Security business (NYSE: GE), at booth 21007 at the ISC West Show, to be held April 5-7 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, will highlight and introduce numerous products and systems that provide complete integration and interoperability, from security subsystems through enterprise/IT solutions.  Leveraging scores of technologies, the GE Security booth will feature components and systems that provide safety and security for installations ranging from personal residences to Homeland Security infrastructures.

“Our new products and security solutions on display at ISC West will reinforce our leadership in the security industry and provide show attendees with a snapshot of the breadth and depth of our offerings,” said Louis Parker, President & CEO of GE Security.

Numerous new GE Security products, with their open architectures, demonstrate the continuing convergence of security and IT.  For instance, GE’s new SymSecure digital video management software uses the latest in IP-networking technology and works with GE's SymSuite of MPEG-4 digital video products to let users continue using their legacy analog equipment within an IP environment.

Being launched in the United States, GE’s VisioWave Performance Video System provides a comprehensive range of solutions, including intelligent video content analysis and video surveillance for installations that require integrated transmission, management, analysis and storage of extremely high-quality digital video, including digital video equipment and high-end distributed video switching for cameras and monitors. Being intelligent, the VisioWave system can automatically detect unattended objects, abnormal behavior in crowds or specific areas, and other questionable activities.

“At ISC West, we look forward to meeting our customers, the dealers and integrators who use our video surveillance, access control, intrusion, explosives detection, and fire and safety offerings to create total solutions for their customers, the end-users,” said Parker.  “We are committed to these channel partners.  Besides new products, we want to form strategic partnerships that create long-term partner relationships with increased breadth, width and two-way commitment,” Parker said.
