GVI to Introduce New High Performance DVR at ASIS International 2007

SHR-5000 series DVRs maximizes video storage, uses separate codec to provide stream for remote viewing

CARROLLTON, Texas - September 24, 2007 - GVI Security Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of video security surveillance solutions featuring the complete Samsung Electronics line of products, will introduce its new high performance DVR SHR-5000 series of Digital Video Recorders at the ASIS International 2007 in Las Vegas, September 24 - 27.

The new GVI Samsung SHR-5000 Series DVR uses separate codecs to record videos and to transmit them via a network. This allows higher resolution video to be recorded to HDD and continuous remote monitoring even in a low band-width network environment. The series achieves industry-leading efficiency with an innovative proprietary integrated circuit design that maximizes video compression delivering a 35% boost in hard drive storage.

In addition to the SHR-5000 series DVR, GVI's New LCD TFT Monitors, which are designed to provide the sharpest image in the industry with an effective contrast ratio of 1000:1 as well as their New Fixed Dome Camera series which can detect even slight motion in the dark with a 0.00009 Lux high-sensitive CCD and a horizontal resolution of 540TV lines available with high impact anti vandal housing and several different vari-focal lens options are also featured new products at ASIS International 2007.
