Company's access control products to be available through Tri-Ed immediately

Feb 2007 - Tri-Ed is pleased to announce the addition of SimonsVoss Technologies to its access control product offerings. The SVI system of wireless locks provides users with a full-scale access control system at a reduced cost.

The SimonsVoss technology enables the traditional locksmith dealer to easily diversify into the growing access control market. The German engineered design makes it possible to upgrade from mechanical locks to a more secure electronic system without wires and without modifying doorframes. The SV1 system eliminates the need for mechanical keys with mechanical locks. Authorized system users gain access through the doors by simply pressing a button on a small hand-held transponder. Encrypted wireless networks throughout the facility allow for changes in authorization and monitoring of use from one workstation.

"Tri-Ed is proud to add SimonsVoss to its family of access control vendors," says James Rothstein, Senior Vice President of Marketing. "It's part of Tri-Ed's ongoing commitment to deliver the latest products and technologies to our customers."
