March 17, 2006
New management team, name change and rebranding reflect fresh focus

Bandit Solutions, formerly known as Bandit America, has received a round of investment funding, which is being used to significantly restructure the company.

Along with the reorganization, Bandit Solutions, the maker of a fog-like building protection product, is launching a new branding and imaging initiative that will reflect the company’s focus and to prepare the company to broaden its offerings to the U.S security market as well as internationally.

Reflecting the new focus, the company has changed its name to Bandit Solutions and added several key members to the Bandit team. Also accompanying these changes is a new logo, website and promotional materials.

“The name change to Bandit Solutions is the first step in an exciting revamp of the company’s image and market focus, in preparation for the company’s planned expansion throughout 2006 and beyond,” said Younghoon Song, president and interim CEO of Bandit Solutions.

With its powerful and technically advanced fog system, Bandit Solutions provides the explosive power to stop a crime in progress. Perfect as an enhancement to any security system, Bandit ejects harmless dense fog at an unmatched rate creating a high-level barrier that protects valuables from intruders.

Established in Europe in 1992, Bandit America was introduced in 2004 to meet the needs of its growing U. S. customer base. Under the new name, Bandit Solutions, the company will continue to develop, sell and manufacture proactive crime deterrents which can be integrated with alarms, access control and video verification systems.

Additionally, Bandit Solutions is relocating the corporate headquarters to the East Coast, as well as announcing a series of executive appointments designed to expand upon its industry leadership.

Mario Costa, formerly of OzVision, has joined Bandit Solutions as Executive Vice President. Costa will be responsible for directing company sales efforts, developing and implementing marketing and branding programs, building and maintaining international markets and promoting Bandit Solutions worldwide.

John Reardon has also joined Bandit Solutions as a Chief Strategy Officer, and will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies.

Richard Hahn, president of Richard Hahn & Associates will serve as chairman and senior adviser.

The reorganization will provide better support to the field, facilitate successful planning, and prepare for accelerated growth.

“These changes more accurately reflect our company vision and position within the security industry,” added Costa. "Our new brand identity better aligns and leverages our company strengths and provides a unified platform for further success as we continue to develop and market innovative, high-quality security products."
