New JVC Security Products to Debut at IFSEC

New DVR model, plus latest in network and CCTV range introduced by JVC

London – Making its debut at IFSEC 2006 between May 8-12, 2006, on stand N110 at NEC, Birmingham, will be the new 9-channel VR-509E Digital Video Recorder (DVR) from JVC and is set to be a show highlight.  As well as having the ability to export images to standard DVDs and also play-back on domestic DVD players, the unit utilises MPEG-2 compression and high-quality pictures are achieved with high-density recording at up to 100 frames per second across all channels at any one time. This recording includes two channels of audio and it can accept up to 9 cameras.  Recording is achieved on a 320GB hard disk drive that can be expanded with an additional 500GB external drive.

Two new additions to the IP network range

The new VN-C20U is a fully-featured fixed security camera that has Easy Day/Night operation and is able to utilise Power over Ethernet (POE) or 24V AC power. 

For extremely high-quality, live full-motion and multi-streaming of analogue security to IP images, visitors are encouraged to see JVC’s 4-channel VN-E4 encoder on display.  This versatile product comes with two-way audio input / output, multicast capabilities and a built-in viewer that is able to reduce the overall system cost to the end user.  This encoder produces images at 30fps at VGA (640x480) on all channels simultaneously. 

Ideal for 24/7 surveillance, the fully-featured compact indoor/outdoor network cameras, the super-slim VN-C625U and VN-C655U will be on display.

High-resolution mini-domes for easy installation and low maintenance

The TK-C210/215 series dome cameras, models TK-C210FWE, TK-C215V4E and TK-C215V12E, are competitively priced and can be fitted in three ways (recess, flush and wall) as well as a 3-way mechanical gimble device ensuring that no additional brackets are required for installation.  The three domes have SuperLoLuxTM light sensitivity capabilities and deliver high resolution, crisp, clean images for most lighting conditions.

Enhanced performance has been given to JVC’s TK-WD310E wide dynamic range camera with the addition of an easy Day/Night colour-off feature enabling it to automatically use colour mode when an image is bright, and black and white mode when it is very dark.  Alongside this stunning camera will be the complete range of 1/3-inch and 1/2-inch high-resolution CCTV cameras and pan, tilt & zoom dome cameras.

Ultra-high quality and durable LCD monitors for control room and security operations

JVC's long history of producing industry-leading monitors follows through with the introduction of two new monitors, the LM-150 and LM-170 which come with built-in stands and durable metal casing.  These will be presented alongside a 17-inch LCD monitor, model GD-17L1G and a 19-inch monitor, model GD-19L1G are also on show. For large screen multi-viewing of different video sources, the versatile 40-inch LCD monitor, model GM-H40L1G will be showcased.  The entire range of CRT monitors will be showcased in sizes ranging from 10-inch to 21-inch.
