Hauppauge, NY - Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of video surveillance systems, is proud to release a new addition to the ViconNet family, the KTX-4 Digital Video Server. This 4-channel, 120 fps digital video server is powered by ViconNet and allows each KTX-4 to collect video from up to 4 analog inputs. Streamed video is then sent over the network for storage and viewing on ViconNet Network Video Recording Stations. Each KTX-4 server can be remotely configured from other Kollector Elite Recorders and ViconNet PC Workstations on the network.

In addition, the KTX-4 supports full PTZ control, alarm reporting, picture quality configuration, external sensors, macros, and alarm configuration. It distributes its own 4 channels of collected video to each workstation or Kollector Elite Server, upon request, over a network.
