Winning dealers visit cultural sites at Panasonic's expense

Secaucus, NJ (August 4, 2006) – Japan’s Mount Fuji is perhaps one of the most recognized sites in the world, and the dealers who successfully completed Panasonic Security Systems’ “Reach for the Peak” Promotion had the opportunity to get close to Mount Fuji and other cultural sites throughout Japan during their trip in July.

“Our Reach for the Peak promotion was designed to recognize dealers who showed significant increases in performance over the previous year and as an incentive and means of expressing our gratitude for their accomplishments,” said Julianna Benedick, Group Manager of Marketing for Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA). “We applaud the winners and commend their on-going efforts and commitment to promoting and offering Panasonic security products.”

Panasonic awarded the trip to Japan to Tri-Ed of Woodbury, NY, Anixter of Glenview, IL and Northern Video of Rocklin, CA. Panasonic also awarded Panasonic 50” Plasma Displays to additional winners Industrial Video, Stanley Security and Alpha Video, and Panasonic Toughbook Laptop Computers to Gemellaro Systems and Roscor. In addition, Panasonic awarded all winning dealers thousands of dollars worth of Panasonic consumer products.

One winning dealer, Midstate Security of Grand Rapids, MI, chose to utilize award funds to hold their own special event for all their employees. Approximately 50 people enjoyed a celebratory breakfast at the Crowne Plaza hotel hosted by Midstate CEO Jerry Spitler.

To meet the criteria for the Reach for the Peak promotion, dealers had to fulfill vigorous requirements during Panasonic’s fiscal year 2005.
