AlliedBarton Appoints New National Training Director

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., August 9, 2006 – AlliedBarton Security Services, the largest American owned and managed security services firm in the U.S., has appointed Rich Cordivari as their National Training Director. 

Since joining AlliedBarton in December 2003, Cordivari has served as the MidSouthAtlantic Division’s Training Director. In his new role, he will assume responsibility for all aspects of Security Officer and Account Manager Training and Development and lead a variety of special projects, including the orientation and training of new employees.

“One of Rich’s major focuses will be to ensure that AlliedBarton's Training Community is fully supported,” said Jim Gillece, Vice President, Learning and Organizational Effectiveness.  “By providing the learning tools and guidance needed, Rich will ensure that AlliedBarton's security officers are the best in the industry.”

Rich's 20 years of industry experience includes serving as Vice President of Event Operations for SpectaGuard, Inc. (now AlliedBarton) and Vice President of Secure Defense Systems of Springfield, NJ, a security consulting firm. He founded and was President of USProtect, Inc. (Bethesda, MD) and President of ADTS, Inc. (King of Prussia, PA), two of the Commercial Fleet Industry's premier providers of safety and security training.

Rich is a graduate of Villanova University (BS, Business Administration). Immediately following college he began a 15 year career in Law Enforcement and, at the time he joined SpectaGuard, he was a Police Lieutenant in Lower Merion Township, PA.
