IP access control solutions provider partners with HID technology group

Boulder Colorado, February 2007 - ISONAS Security Systems, the first and leading manufacturer of panel-free, IP access control solutions, has announced it has joined the HID Connect Partner Program, a hardware and software partnership initiative aimed at expanding use of HID's technology. ISONAS is the first manufacturer of panel-free IP Reader-Controllers for physical access control to join the partnership arm of HID, a leading manufacturer in the access control industry.

ISONAS IP Reader-Controllers are sold bundled with ISONAS Crystal Matrix software which allows customers to connect access control directly to the company network. The software is designed to enable users to centrally manage the IP Readers and other network devices. The IP readers can be ordered as HID-enabled, to read a variety of HID proximity cards – an innovation in demand by end-users and enabled by the proliferation of HID credentials.

According to Michael Radicella, CEO of ISONAS, "Being part of HID Connect and building upon the history of cooperation between the two companies, ISONAS will take further advantage of HID-enabling technologies to introduce new versions of our panel-free, IP Reader-Controllers in 2007."

"HID Connect is focused on working with Partners such as ISONAS to enable the use of HID technology in new hardware and software applications", said Debra Spitler, EVP of HID Connect. "It is good for end-users to have the opportunity to use a networked access solution that is compatible with HID proximity cards that are in use throughout the enterprise."
