Feb. 23, 2006
Workshop provides insight on UL and NFPA changes

Northford, CT - Gamewell-FCI, a part of Honeywell Fire Systems, is a leading manufacturer of fire alarm and emergency evacuation systems for commercial and industrial facilities worldwide. Hosted by Gamewell-FCI, this seminar highlights compliance to new standards by using the latest digital network audio technology. It will take place in 16 cities throughout the United States from March to May 2006. Architects, Engineers, consultants, and building management professionals are all welcome to take advantage of this free opportunity to hear industry experts explain how to address new requirements, and how changes to the standards have made current specifications for fire alarm systems obsolete.

Each seminar will cover methods to address the latest UL-864 and NFPA 72 requirements, focusing on the achievement of maximum survivability and efficiency in the design of fire alarm and building evacuation systems. In addition to a discussion of changing standards, attendees will also have the opportunity for a hands-on demonstration of the Industry’s premier expandable emergency evacuation system, now available to meet these standards – the new E3 Series™.

“From the outset, this extraordinary system (E3 Series) was created to address the new UL 9th edition standard,” said John Weaver, Director of Marketing for Gamewell-FCI. “And with its expandable capabilities, modules and cabinets can be mixed and matched to build anything from a simple, stand-alone fire alarm panel to a sprawling mass notification system. It’s the closest thing yet to a one-size-fits-all control panel for the fire industry.”

Gamewell-FCI’s seminars will begin in the Boston, MA metropolitan area on March 21st and continue across the country, ending in Denver, CO on May 11th. Seminar attendees will receive invaluable information and materials provided by Gamewell-FCI, one of the world’s premier manufacturers of fire alarm and mass notification systems.
