CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., July 26 -- Global ePoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:GEPT) , a leading manufacturer of digital surveillance and detection solutions, today announced that its Aviation Division, Global AirWorks, received a follow-on order for its Cockpit Door Surveillance Systems (CDSS) from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), the world's largest lessor of new aircraft.
ILFC has placed a follow-on order for the AirWorks CDSS system for new A330 aircraft to be delivered to Germany's LTU International Airways. To date, ILFC has ordered AirWorks CDSS kits for Air Berlin's A319 aircrafts, LTU's A330 aircraft and Pegasus' B737 aircraft.
ILFC is the international market leader in the leasing and remarketing of advanced technology commercial jet aircraft to airlines around the world. ILFC owns a portfolio of more than 800 jet aircraft valued at more than $40 billion. LTU was founded in 1955 and is one of Germany's largest and safest airlines, carrying more than 5.6 million passengers on its 26 jets. The LTU fleet is one of the most modern in the world.

The Global AirWorks' CDSS (Cockpit Door Surveillance System) provides video surveillance cameras throughout the cabin and cargo area along with touch screen access monitors mounted in the cockpit to enable the pilots to maintain a complete visual of the aircraft. The CDSS not only allows the flight crew to maintain the safety of the cockpit but it also provides a comprehensive safety and security tool for incidents of air rage, fire or mechanical issues, and loss prevention.
