Snyder brings 30 years of ADT experience to managing Vonage operations

Mike Snyder, who served as ADT Security's president since 1997, and who worked his way up the company since 1977, has made the switch from a company that deals with VoIP connectivity for alarm systems to the company that deals in VoIP itself.

Vonage announced that Snyder has accepted the position of CEO for the broadband phone company last week, and the company is reportedly moving toward its stock IPO.

Vonage’s founder, chairman and chief strategist Jeffrey A. Citron said that he sought out Snyder for four months before convincing the ADT exec to move to the broadband phone company.
