At Americas' Fire and Security Expo, Chemetron showcases suppression systems using Novec 1230 fluid

MIAMI, Fla., July 18, 2006 — Attendees at the Americas’ Fire & Security Expo will have the opportunity to learn more about Chemetron’s clean agent fire suppression systems, which use Novec 1230 fire protection fluid, at the company’s booth #1010. Other environmentally important features of Novec 1230 are its low Global Warming Potential (GWP) rating of just one, an atmospheric lifetime of approximately five days, an Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) of zero and the fact that it does not leave any post-fire residue.

Chemetron’s other UL Listed and/or FM approved clean agent products are its gaseous systems utilizing FM-200 and its Argonite Inert gas systems.
