Dice Corporation named its new president this week with the addition of security industry veteran Mike Simpson.
Simpson, who previously was employed as vice president of finance and administration/CFO for Per Mar Security Services, brings over 30 years of security industry experience to DICE Corporation. While employed with Per Mar, which he joined in 1998, Simpson handled financial oversight for the company's overall operations, including a central station serving 40,000-plus alarm locations, a background which fits well into DICE's needs. DICE Corporation provides software and account solutions for the central station monitoring and alarm industry.
Before working with Per Mar, Simpson was with Pinkerton's from 1992 to 1998 as a director of operations and financial services. He began his service in the security industry with Wackenhut in 1974, where he served as V.P. of management information services before moving to Pinkerton's.
Clifford Dice, CEO of DICE Corporation (www.dicecorp.com), said in a statement that Simpson's addition to the DICE Corporation executive leadership will help the company face "large changes in the alarm industry."
