AlliedBarton Names Vice President of Learning and Organizational Effectiveness

James Gillece joins guard services company from leadership and education post at Pfizer

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, July 7, 2006 – AlliedBarton Security Services, the largest American-owned and operated security services firm, announced today that James J. Gillece has joined the company as Vice President of Learning and Organizational Effectiveness.

Gillece, who formerly was Director, Leadership Education and Development for Pfizer Inc., will assume leadership of all training functions at AlliedBarton, which was selected as one of Training Magazine’s Top 100 training companies for 2006.

Gillece had been with Pfizer for 17 years. He spent over 11 years in various sales positions with the Pfizer Pharmaceutical Group. Prior to being name to the Director position, he was the Central Nervous System-Specialty Division Manager.

He earned a BA degree in Marketing from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and a Master’s in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He was a requested speaker at the National Training Directors Forum and is an invited guest Lecturer at St. Joseph’s University MBA Program. He is a past member of the eCornell Corporate Advisory Board for Strategic Human Capital Management that focuses on the design and development of online programs devoted to People development.
