Speakers sought for two-day conference in June

Alexandria, VA – The Security Industry Association (SIA) is seeking experienced speakers for its 2006 Government Sales and Marketing Summit. The annual two-day conference and networking event is scheduled for June 12-14, 2006 in Washington, D.C. Ideal speakers should possess strong government sales or procurement experience relevant to the sale and marketing of electronic security equipment and services. Candidates with federal government or commercial experience are actively being sought. Please visit www.siaonline.org, select the Government Relations tab and visit the Government Sales and Marketing Summit link for event and speaker application information. Applications should be submitted by Friday, Feb. 17, 2006.

The Summit, which was launched four years ago, is designed to introduce security companies (manufacturers and service providers) to federal market business opportunities and legislative initiatives relevant to the electronic and physical security industry. Each year, the Summit brings top procurement officers from various federal agencies; top policy officials from Congress; and key representatives from prime government contractors together to share their knowledge and first-hand experience in informative, high-impact presentations and interactive discussions. Attendees are also given the opportunity to personally address with Congressional representatives critical legislative issues and initiatives affecting their business.
