Company unveils 'unprecedented' technology for Winter Olympics, will add wireless video surveillance

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2005--MSGI Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: MSGI), a leading provider of proprietary security products and services, today announced that it has successfully activated its advanced security systems in Milan and Turin, Italy under the direction of an Italian Homeland Security agency.

MSGI Italia Srl, a wholly-owned operating company, completed the initial installations on December 15th at undisclosed locations in Milan and Turin, where operations and forensic analysis of legal interceptions will be carried out until the end of February, when the winter Olympic Games conclude. Wireless video surveillance, and other covert, classified activities, are also planned for selective protective missions throughout the games.

Jeremy Barbera, Chairman and CEO of MSGI, commented, "MSGI executives and engineers have spent the last six months preparing for what is arguably the most high-profile security event in the world. Our AONet International facility in Milan is the hub for our legal interception business, which is expected to continue long after the winter games have ended. MSGI has completed an investment of several million dollars in this facility, now fully operational. Our work in the U.S. for the Department of Homeland Security has given us a significant amount of experience managing events and environments vulnerable to the global threats of terrorism. The technology utilized in Italy during the winter Olympic Games is unprecedented, and we are excited to play a role within an Italian government agency to advance criminal investigation capabilities while improving public safety throughout the nation."
