EVT signs distribution agreement for Vertex video software Russia

Partnership begins with initial order of 1,000 licenses for Vertex networked video management software

Petach Tikva and Moscow, 6 February 2008 – EVT, a developer of video management software, today announced that it has received a large license order to deliver its Vertex networked video management and recording software to L.B. DeFence, a Russian subsidiary of Israeli Group L.B., a security systems holding company. The initial order includes 1,000 licenses for Vertex networked video management software. The licenses will be used for large-scale surveillance deployments In Russia.

EVT signed an exclusive distribution agreement with L.B. DeFence, at the start of 2008. Under the terms of the agreement, L.B. DeFence will distribute, install and support EVT's Vertex system, to its diverse customer base in Russia.

L.B. DeFence is a leading distributor of security systems with offices in Israel, Moscow and Kiev providing modern security systems for the protection of key government and large enterprises, including the airports of Kiev, Moscow, Ivanovo, Taganrog , the Ministry of Defense of Russia and Ukraine, leading companies like ‘Rosneft”, “Rainko” and “Mosvodokanal”.
