BALTIMORE, MD - View Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: VYST), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that five Maryland District Court locations in Baltimore, Rockville, Cumberland and Oakland have been installed.

``Security of our courthouses is a top priority,'' said Chief Judge of the District Court Ben C. Clyburn. ``This system will complement other security measures we have in place.''

``We have been working diligently with District Court staff to expedite these installations,'' stated Homeland Defense Products Manager, Dave Johansen. ``As a result of their proficient efforts, the SecureScans are being installed smoothly.''

Funded by the Department of Justice and developed by the DOE's Federal Lab System, the SecureScan is the finest concealed weapons detection system available. While ignoring common items like coins, watches, and jewelry, the SecureScan is sensitive enough to locate and pinpoint hidden razor blades on the video image. The SecureScan records both the video and potential threat object for review and printing and interfaces with access control and bio-metric systems.

``Detailed studies, multiple demonstrations, and location surveys resulted in expedient and efficient installations,'' stated View Systems CEO, Gunther Than, ``Our install schedule calls for the completion of the District Courts in the next several months.''
