NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Credit unions will soon have a variety of physical security products available to them through an agreement in principle between CUNA & Affiliates and Diebold, Incorporated. Terms of the new agreement will be announced in January 2005.
Physical security products in the agreement include security vestibules, safes, modular vaults and vault doors, safe deposit boxes, lockers, After- Hour(R) depositories, bullet-resistive barriers, drive-up windows and drawers, undercounter cabinets, remote transaction products, such as Diebold's RemoteTeller System, and other branch products.
"Diebold has a long history of providing reliable physical security products and services," said Wes Millar, vice president of Strategic Alliances for CUNA & Affiliates. "These additions will complement and strengthen our existing portfolio of product solutions."
The Diebold and CUNA relationship has existed for more than 20 years, and already includes a full line of automated teller machine (ATM) equipment, supplies, managed services, electronic security products and, most recently, Opteva(R) -- Diebold's new family of advanced-function ATMs and cash dispensers.
"We're proud to be part of such a strong relationship with CUNA," said David Bucci, senior vice president of Customer Solutions at Diebold. "These new products further solidify our strategic alliance with CUNA by providing members with established product solutions that increase security and measurably improve the effectiveness and profitability of their businesses."
