PassagePoint visitor management system provides end-to-access access control solution

The integration of Software House's C.CURE 800 access control system and STOPware's PassagePoint visitor management system provides an easy to use and feature rich end to end access control solution. When combined, C.CURE and PassagePoint enhance the management of employee and building security by consolidating the recorded entry and exit activities into a single system.

In addition, the two systems deliver features previously unavailable from access control systems - such as web pre-registrations and watch lists.

"Software House works with a number of industry leaders to develop and deliver cutting edge security solutions to the marketplace and we are very pleased with results of our collaboration with STOPware," said Paul J. Piccolomini, vice president of research and development for Tyco Fire & Security's Access Control and Video Systems business unit. "PassagePoint is user friendly and has the XP look and feel to it. More importantly though, PassagePoint integrates well with our product and allows us to offer a seamless solution to the customer."

The integrated solution from Software House promotes increased levels of efficiency and cost effectiveness. The combination of C.CURE 800 and PassagePoint provides a comprehensive access control solution for a wide range of users including government agencies, healthcare facilities, multi-tenant buildings, educational sites and businesses of all sizes.

Highlights of the integrated system include the ability to define security levels, designate access areas, badge and track visitors, activate and de-activate access cards, remotely update and/or configure workstations and instantaneous record updating. These features offer unprecedented security and visitor management control.

Key features of PassagePoint visitor management software include: web pre-registration; a directory link add-on that supports the latest LDAP protocols, rapid registration to quickly and easily scan passports, driver's licenses and business cards for fast registration; customized registrations for extended visits; badge design wizard, including addition of 2D barcodes; and SecureViewto display photos of undesirable visitors or watch lists and view building status and evacuation reports on an individual or system-wide basis.
