Software designed to protect cardholder data in retail transactions, meets PCI standards

Triversity Inc., the fastest growing international provider of customer-centric retail solutions, has announced the release of FraudWatch 3.0, the first loss prevention software solution that meets the requirements of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards for protecting cardholder data. Triversity will demonstrate FraudWatch 3.0 in booth #301 at the National Retail Federation's Loss Prevention Conference and Exhibition, June 27-29 at the San Diego Convention Center.

"Continuing thefts of credit card data underscore the need for retailers to protect consumer information and to ensure that they have the right technology and procedures in place for PCI compliance," said David Thomas, president, Triversity Inc. "Retailers who implement loss prevention solutions should be certain that the software meets PCI standards -- and with FraudWatch 3.0, they can be sure."

FraudWatch 3.0 includes full encryption of credit/debit card information, as well as other new software features such as audit trails when data is accessed, advanced password management, masking of sensitive data when displayed, and restriction of information on a need-to-know basis. These security features, when combined with the practices and procedures of the PCI standards, can help retailers achieve PCI compliance.

In addition to enhanced security, FraudWatch 3.0 includes a number of additional new features, including automatic report scheduling; user-defined report formatting; the ability to support multiple languages at the same location; loyalty and gift card support; and the capability for integration with case management and workflow systems.
