U.S. Navy Awards Honeywell $4.3 Million Project

Major regionalization effort to enhance security and response systems

Honeywell has announced a $4.3 million project from the U.S. Navy to provide program management services, security products and networking solutions in support of a major regionalization effort. Honeywell has teamed with Northrop Grumman Information Technology and a number of other highly qualified subcontractors to service U.S. Navy needs in consolidating the functionalities of dispersed dispatch centers into a single Regional Dispatch Center. This program will greatly enhance the efficiencies of the following systems:

- Security, Access Control, Fire and CCTV systems monitoring and control
- Emergency dispatch services for Medical, Fire and Security Response Forces
- Integrated Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Systems
- Voice / Video recording, direct phone lines, and local weather conditions equipment
- Records Management Systems (RMS)

In addition to program management services, Honeywell will provide the U.S. Navy with Vindicator Security Solutions military grade, IT-based platforms designed for the seamless integration of security and building automation in high-risk facilities.
