"Richard is a world class manager and a proven leader. He is exactly the profile we were looking for to fit the Chief Executive role. With his leadership, experience and proven talent on board, we are confident we can take our business to the next level" commented Colin Hill.

Prior to joining H&A, Richard led a team focused on initiating and advising on security industry private equity buy-out opportunities. During this time he also served on the boards of a number of security companies.

Richard said, "Hill & Associates is poised for tremendous growth and success and I look forward to the challenges ahead in turning that potential into reality. We have a great team of people, brand, network and client base and I am enthusiastic about the prospect of working with all of them to achieve one goal: being the best."

Prior to his time at Brink's, Richard held several positions at Holmes Protection Group, a New York based electronic security services company. During a six-year career at Holmes, culminating in his being appointed CEO, Richard was heavily involved in a financial and operational turnaround of the group which prepared the way for its eventual sale to Tyco.

Richard joined the private sector in 1986 after eight years' military service during which time he served as an Officer with the British Army in Germany, Northern Ireland, the UK and Zimbabwe and with the Sultan of Oman's Land Forces in southern Arabia. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, the international business school in France, and an MA from St. Andrews University, Scotland.
