Twelve volt operation makes domes useful for solar-powered and mobile applications

Infinova's SuperDome Series indoor and outdoor analog PTZ dome cameras are now available in 12VDC versions. Combined with their industry leading power economy, the 12VDC power option makes these domes ideal for solar powered, battery powered, mobile and other special applications. The 12VDC indoor models consume just 7 watts idle, about 12 watts when performing pan or tilt, and about 18 watts when performing simultaneous pan, tilt and zoom, while the outdoor models consume the same plus another 7.5 watts when the heater is operating. These rates of power consumption are typically just one-fourth of what comparable competitors' models consume. The domes have already been widely proven in solar powered and battery powered installations.

In addition, Infinova will engineer a custom hardware and/or software dome solution for applications that require it.

Infinova designs and manufactures a full line analog and digital/IP CCTV products including PTZ dome cameras, fixed cameras and lenses, monitors, DVRs, matrix switchers, controllers and accessories, fiber optics for video, audio and data, and integration software. Infinova provides consultants, integrators, electrical contractors and installers with engineering design assistance, and can customize hardware and software.
