Former Lord & Taylor Loss Prevention VP Joins Universal Surveillance Systems

Cunningham will serve as regional vice president for loss prevention products provider

Universal Surveillance Systems, a growing provider of innovative protection solutions to the retail industry today announced that Craig Cunningham has joined the firm as Regional Vice President.

"Craig's extensive industry knowledge and experience will contribute greatly to our ability to develop innovative products to better meet the needs of the loss prevention community," said Adel Sayegh, President and CEO of Universal Surveillance Systems. "We are committed to bringing in talented loss prevention personnel and are very pleased to add someone of Craig Cunningham's stature and reputation to our leadership group."

Cunningham will provide a senior leadership role and enhance Universal's ability to provide customized loss prevention solutions to the retail industry. He will concentrate his efforts primarily on national accounts and will be based in Florida.

Cunningham joined Lord & Taylor in 1990, serving most recently as Vice President of Loss Prevention since 1999. Prior to joining Lord & Taylor, Cunningham served as a Regional Loss Prevention Director for Highland Superstores from 1985 to 1990.

From 1981 to 1985, he served in the same capacity with retailer TG&Y. Previously, Cunningham had been Group Loss Prevention Manager for Montgomery Ward, from 1977 to 1980. He began his career in loss prevention in 1977 after earning a bachelor's degree in criminology from Florida State University.
