Commmercial Grade LCD Monitors from JVC Meet Demanding needs of the Security Market

GD-19L1GU and GD-17L1GU LCD monitors provide flexible connectivity and versatility for most demanding applications

ORLANDO, FL -- JVC Professional Products Company introduced the GD-19L1GU, 19-inch LCD monitor and the GD-17L1GU, 17-inch LCD monitor as part of a complete line of LCD’s being unveiled at ASIS International 2005. These monitors are ideal components within any surveillance control room or command and control application.

The 19-inch GD-19L1GU features an ultra high contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a super wide viewing angle of 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically with an extremely bright picture of 250cd/m2. The 17-inch GD-17L1GU features a high contrast ratio of 500:1 and a wide viewing angle of 140 degrees left to right and 130 degrees top to bottom with picture brightness of 300 cd/m2.

Simple and stylish in design, these LCD’s can be used stand-alone or rack-mounted. The slim 24mm bezel of both monitors provides more viewing area, beneficial when multiple monitors are installed in a surveillance control room. With standard VESA mounting holes, the GD-19L1GU and GD-17L1GU can be mounted and installed many different ways and locations. In addition, there are two built-in stereo speakers in the front of the unit as well as a built-in AC power supply with a detachable cord that allows for quick and easy installation.

Both LCD’s provide the connectivity and 24/7 performance needed for the most demanding surveillance monitoring applications and are equipped with three video inputs, component (Y,Cb,Cr), S-video (Y/C), and standard composite video input terminals, each with a bridged output. In addition, these LCD monitors have low power consumption --nearly 1/3 less than a typical CRT monitor making them a cost-effective solution for any user.
