5601P detector offers 135-degree fixed single-circuit, ROR detector designed for residences

ST. CHARLES, IL, August 8, 2005 - System Sensor released their new 5601P mechanical heat detector in August 2005.

The 5601P is a 135-degree F fixed, single-circuit, rate-of-rise (ROR) heat detector without letters, numbers or markings on the exterior to compromise its visual integrity and surroundings.

"Homeowners especially will favor the 5601P because it will complement the interior of their homes," Richard Roberts, Product Manager of System Sensor's Security Business Unit, states.

The 5601P is one of eight detectors that make up the 5600 series. The series is the most sought after by commercial and industrial installers for property and other non-life-safety- protection when smoke detectors may be inappropriate. The series offers single- and dual-circuits and features 135-degree F fixed, 135-degree F fixed plus rate-of-rise, 194-degree F fixed and 194-degree F fixed plus rate-of-rise heat detection.
