CIPI (Comprehensive Identification Products, Inc.) announced the appointment of Tom Kivela to the position of Vice President - Worldwide Operations. Kivela assumes responsibility for global sourcing, manufacturing and distribution operations and joins CIPI with more than 30 years experience.
Most recently, Kivela was V.P. Global Operations for GN Netcom which, like CIPI, has locations in China, the U.S. and Europe.
"Tom brings significant technical knowledge and familiarity with China-based sourcing and manufacturing," said Bill Kieckhafer, President and C.O.O. "As our worldwide presence has expanded we've attracted and have added appropriate talent and Tom is an ideal fit."
Although based in CIPI's corporate headquarters in Burlington, MA U.S.A. Kivela will spend considerable time in China where CIPI has a wholly-owned 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility and employs a staff of more than 700 workers. About CIPI
