CALGARY, ALBERTA -- Immersive Media Corp. ("IMC") announced the introduction of the Telemmersion Camera System with live immersive view for persistent surveillance.

This system has been designed specifically for transmitting live 360 degree video at 30 frames per second for airport rotundas, subway platforms, casinos or any high risk environment; providing a detailed account of what is going on, as well a permanent record of the entire sequence of events.

The Telemmersion System enables security personnel to monitor, in real time, any situation, capturing everything that is taking place at any point in time. Multiple operators may monitor different people or areas at the same time and record the activities. In addition, there is a complete record of everything that took place in the area, not just what the traditional camera may have caught when someone walks by.

The Telemmersion System enables an operator to go back, and follow a specific target and/or several people, and observe their interactions. This ability, to observe the whole environment, provides decision makers with much better intelligence and enables them to make informed, critical, time sensitive decisions - better information, better decisions.

"The Telemmersion System is critical for the war on terrorism. We must have better intelligence, and the Telemmersion System revolutionizes the way we look at things, by capturing the whole picture and providing the ability to analyze this data. You don't just get a glimpse of someone as they walk by - you have a high resolution video of them coming and going," said Myles M. McGovern, President & CEO, Immersive Media Corp. "One of the US Department of Homeland Security's priorities is to create better transportation security systems in order to move people and cargo more securely and efficiently. A unique feature of the Telemmersion System is the ability to focus on the faces of individuals and their belongings, as well as monitor additional targets in different locations at the same time. This solution offers greater security in our ports and transportation hubs. We are excited about providing this solution and look forward to working with many partners on the implementation," added Mr. McGovern.
