Diebold, Incorporated and Telular Corporation have announced a partnership to install Telular's Telguard security products for cellular security alarm backup in financial, retail and commercial markets across the country. As one of the first companies to use Telguard products, Diebold has designated Telular as its preferred provider for cellular alarm signaling products in the United States.
Diebold is currently installing Telguard Classic and DataBurst products for many top commercial banks and federal credit unions. These products constantly monitor the wired network and can automatically switch communications to the cellular network via Telular's patented transmission technology. Telguard provides a reliable communication path for alarm signals as well as a backup system for voice, fax and data transmission to ensure Diebold customers are fully protected 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Diebold also uses Telguard products in retail outlets for fire and commercial burglary systems throughout the United States and plans to add additional Telular products to its security portfolio in the future and expand its product offerings outside the country.
