Las Vegas, NV (March 28, 2012) - Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, has been honored with Frost & Sullivan's 2011 North American New Product Innovation Award in Cameras for IP based Video Surveillance.
In making the announcement, Scott Schafer, Executive Vice President, Arecont Vision, said, "The New Product Innovation Award from Frost & Sullivan is a prestigious recognition of Arecont Vision's accomplishments in IP cameras. We are deeply appreciative of this honor and its acknowledgement of the growing importance of megapixel technology in IP video surveillance."
The New Product Innovation Award is based on quantitative and qualitative metrics developed by Frost & Sullivan. The following categories were included in the criteria used to benchmark Arecont Vision's performance against key competitors:

- Customer Acquisition/Penetration Potential
In all categories, Arecont Vision scored higher or equivalent to its competitors.
