Ridgefield Park, NJ (May 2, 2012) – Praised by industry professionals for its high quality content and engaging delivery, the next session of Samsung’s IP video surveillance training program will take place May 15 and 16 in Montreal, Canada. The two-day session, conducted by Dr. Edward Wassall, Samsung’s Director of IP Product and Business Development, will assist attendees in acheiving competency in the understanding and design of IP systems.

“Companies and individuals who invest their time in this training session will benefit in a number of ways,” said Dr. Wassall. “It provides technical knowledge through lectures and instructor-led demonstrations, supplemented by hands-on training, to empower participants to more effectively design and build IP solutions.”

The Samsung IP Institute (SIPI) addresses the growing need for higher level technical expertise in the expanding IP video integration space. IP video networks continue to gain ground in video surveillance and the need to provide mid-level technical network design expertise has never been greater. SIPI training provides basic design skills for technical sales, security rep firms and integrators in order to provide a scalable video network for a small to midsize client. In addition to the expertise gained in the class, all participants, upon successful completion, will receive 15 CECs which can be utilized for industry recognized certification such as ASIS and BICSI.
