BILLERICA, Mass. – July 10, 2012 – American Science and Engineering, Inc. (“AS&E”) , a leading worldwide supplier of innovative X-ray detection solutions, announced the Company has received a follow-on order for three Z Portal multi-view X-ray screening systems to protect a critical infrastructure facility in the Middle East. AS&E’s Z Portal systems will be used to scan vehicles and trucks entering the high-risk facility to detect explosive threats and contraband.
