Security-Net announces new hires and promotions

New hires include business development manager and project manager to installation technicians

Exton, Pa. – July 10, 2012 – Security-Net, a global provider of security integration services, is pleased to announce several new hires and promotions from within its 19 North American member companies.

Following are recent announcements from systems integrators VTI Security, Future Security Controls and The Protection Bureau. The new hire announcements range from a new Business Development Manager and Project Manager to Installation Technicians.

VTI Security, Burnsville, Minn.
Robert Druktenis has been hired by VTI Security to fill the position of Account / Project Manager. Druktenis will be based at the company’s Milwaukee office and joins VTI Security with more than 12 years of experience in the field. His career began with Honeywell Security as a technical manager. Druktenis later went on to hold various management positions for well-known security systems integration companies, such as Engineered Security Solutions and ADT Security Services. Druktenis received his Degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.

Stephen Fisher has been hired by VTI Security as a Business Development Manager. Fisher will be located at the company’s Denver office. He brings experience in consultative sales, negotiations, and senior leadership. In addition, he holds 16 years of experience in sales, of which 12 have been specifically within the security industry.

Future Security Controls, Inc., Ottawa, Canada
Bradley Purdie has joined Future Security Controls as a Security Systems Integrator / Security Technician. In this position Purdie will focus on product installation and service support for clients. Purdie brings to this position experience in all aspects of fire protection and the security alarm industry. Purdie is proficient in providing service, maintenance and installation of new projects for clients. He is also knowledgeable in the national and provincial fire and building codes for Canada.

The Protection Bureau, Exton, Pa.
Alex Speranza has been hired by The Protection Bureau as an Installation Technician. In this position Speranza will install all types of security systems, with a specialty in access control and CCTV. He is certified on CCURE 800 and 9000 from Software House, a Tyco Security Products brand, Facility Commander and Picture Perfect from UTC Fire & Security, and many other physical access control systems. Speranza has more than 17 years of experience in the security industry.

John Fee has been hired by The Protection Bureau as a Central Station Operator for the company’s monitoring center in Exton, Pa. In this position, Fee will respond to alarms and provide dispatching support. He will also assist clients with testing their systems and troubleshooting alarm issues before generating a service ticket. This is Fee’s first position within the security industry. He holds a BA in English from Ursinus College.

Brian Booth joins The Protection Bureau as a Junior Security Consultant. Booth joins the security industry with previous sales experience and a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing.

The Protection Bureau has hired Joe McDevitt, Jr. as a Fire Inspector. McDevitt will participate in an extensive training program from The Protection Bureau prior to being responsible for preforming inspections and issuing letters of certifications to clients.

Kathleen McCall, who was hired by The Protection Bureau in 2008 as a Central Station Operator, has joined the company’s accounting team as an Accounting Clerk. In this position McCall will be responsible for monthly invoicing, updating client accounts and handling accounts receivable. She has more than 15 years of customer service experience.
