Frank Frederiksen to help define company's vertical market strategy

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND, July 16, 2012 — Barix AG, a pioneer in IP-based audio, intercom, control, and monitoring, has appointed Frank Frederiksen as Vice President, Product Marketing and Strategy effective immediately. Frank will help Barix define its vertical market strategy as the company grows its business and expands its product range.

Frank has held a variety of senior management positions in program and technology management, which has given him broad experience and insight on how to develop and market products. Among other positions, Frank has served as Strategic Marketing and Innovation Manager for Philips, and Product and Technology Manager for ST-Ericsson.

“I have been involved in the development side, but have also had time in front of customers. I hope to bridge the two sides at Barix,” said Frederiksen. “What is important in any market is to bring innovative technology to the customer at the right time and price.”

Frank is looking forward to helping Barix continue on a strong path of bringing customers inventive products at a competitive price. With a continually expanding number of new IP audio markets, his main goal is to establish a future roadmap for the company in terms of products and overall marketing objectives.

“Barix is an innovative company with great technology, an unbeatable reputation for reliability and a large customer base,” said Frederiksen. “I am excited to help Barix continue to benefit from the growth of the markets we are in — and of those markets to come.”
