IQinVision products UL listed in the US and Canada

Several IQeye model's meet organization's safety requirements

San Juan Capistrano, CA, August 7, 2012—IQinVision, market leader in high-performance HD megapixel IP cameras, today announced that all of its most popular IQeye camera models have achieved UL Listed status in the US and Canada.

The UL listing means Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) found that representative product samples met UL's safety requirements. These requirements are primarily based on UL's own published standards for safety. UL is a global independent safety science company offering expertise across five key strategic businesses: Product Safety, Environment, Life & Health, Knowledge Services and Verification Services.

The following IQeye HD megapixel network cameras have been UL Listed in the US and Canada:

• 3 Series (IQ03x)
• Alliance-pro (IQA3x)

Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is an independent product safety certification organization. Established in 1894, the company has its headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois. UL develops standards and test procedures for products, materials, components, assemblies, tools and equipment, chiefly dealing with product safety. UL is one of several companies approved for such testing by the U.S. federal agency Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA maintains a list of approved testing laboratories, known as Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories.
