AlliedBarton Security Services' tradeshow exhibit

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 18, 2013) - AlliedBarton Security Services, www.AlliedBarton.com, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, will create a sustainable trade show display at the 2013 Every Building Conference & Expo, presented by BOMA International and Buildings Magazine, to benefit STAR/PAL (Sports Training, Academics, Recreation/Police Athletic League). STAR/PAL is a nonprofit organization that provides over 10,000 youth services annually in inner-city neighborhoods throughout the city and county of San Diego. AlliedBarton, who will be exhibiting at Booth #702 at the San Diego Convention Center from June 23 to 25, 2013, will also be a sponsor at the conference's welcome party on June 23, at the USS Midway.
"Instead of shipping a traditional trade show booth, we have purchased furniture and carpet locally to create our exhibit space," says Mike Coleman, Vice President, Commercial Real Estate, AlliedBarton Security Services. "Following the trade show, these items will be donated to support the mission of STAR/PAL which is to empower underserved youth to build a safer and more prosperous community with their engagement with law enforcement and collaborative partners. By utilizing only the graphics from our traditional trade show booth, we are greatly reducing the shipping, labor and costs normally associated with a large trade show booth and lowering our carbon footprint. We are proud to support BOMA's and our sustainability initiatives. This is our eighth consecutive BOMA show where we've been able to support a local organization with a large furniture donation."
AlliedBarton is also proud to take an active role in BOMA's Career Day on June 24th, which will include a focus on military veterans who are transitioning to civilian careers. Rick Wright, AlliedBarton District Area Manager, and retired Air Force Colonel, will serve as a Mentor and Table Leader to advise those who are interested in a commercial real estate career.
The 2013 Every Building Conference and Expo, www.bomaconvention.org/boma2013, is the commercial real estate industry's premier professional event. This collaborative meeting of the industry's best minds includes more than 40 expert-led sessions across six education tracks on topics ranging from creating and sustaining high performance buildings to maximizing asset and portfolio performance. More than 450 exhibits by leading manufacturers and suppliers at the Expo will help attendees find solutions to operational challenges and strategies to enhance asset performance.
