CHELMSFORD, Mass. – September 19, 2013 – Axis Communications, the market leader in network video, strengthens its service portfolio by offering a five-year extended warranty option on network cameras, video encoders and video decoders. In combination with Axis’ high-quality and reliable IP video products, the extended warranty gives system integrators and end-customers greater peace of mind and protection of their investment in video surveillance.

AXIS Extended Warranty prolongs the standard one- or three-year warranty that accompanies Axis network video products. The extended warranty option can be purchased in two-year extension blocks up to a maximum total warranty period of five years.

AXIS Extended Warranty may be purchased through Axis’ standard distribution channels and must be activated within six months of purchasing the product.
