Chicago, IL (September 24, 2013) – Samsung Techwin is showcasing their latest video surveillance cameras featuring WiseNet III DSP chipset technology here at ASIS 2013 (booth # 853). The WiseNet III portfolio includes the 6000 Series of 1080p full HD 2MP cameras and the newest additions which include the 5000 Series of 720p high definition 1.3MP cameras in various configurations.

Dubbed the “wise choice for professionals,” the WiseNet III iPOLiS camera lineup offers features that meet a host of environments and applications. The cameras produce high quality images even in low lighting conditions as low as 0.01 lux (6000 Series) with low light technology, and an enhanced dynamic range of 120dB ensures image clarity in mixed lighting environments. The cameras’ P-Iris technology also enhances clarity and depth of field in diverse lighting conditions, generating images with better contrast, clarity and resolution. An ultra-fast frame rate of 60 fps and Samsung’s Motion Reduction technology can capture fast scene action without blurring or loss of edge detail.
Additional features that make the WiseNet III cameras the ideal choice for security designers and installers include defog capability for improved images in inclement weather; digital image stabilization (DIS) which can negate the effects of camera shaking due to high winds or building vibration, as well as reducing rolling shutter effects; automatic day/night function; and the Simple Focus feature that enables precise focusing with the push of a button. Focus can also be adjusted remotely via the network. For ease of monitoring, the cameras can be accessed using popular browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer. The cameras also support bi-directional audio, simultaneous multi-streams and bandwidth optimization through H.264 and MJPEG codecs.
Newest to the line are the SNB-5004 box camera, SND-5084 dome camera and SNV-5084 vandal-resistant dome camera, all with 1.3 MP 720p high-definition and auto focus. These three cameras complement the existing line of WiseNet III cameras, which include the following: SNB-6003 and SNB-6004 box cameras; SND-6083 and SND-6084 dome cameras; SND-6084R Infrared Dome Camera; SNO-6084R weatherproof Infrared Camera; and SNV-6084R vandal-resistant Infrared Dome Camera.
