Companies to develop Physical Cybersecurity platform for US Federal Agencies and Critical Infrastructure Protection sectors

Cape Canaveral FL (February 11, 2014) – SecureXperts, Inc., and Bosch Security Systems, Inc. announce an agreement to integrate a secure communications framework into the Bosch IP / HD camera portfolio used by US Federal agencies that are interconnected with public networks and the Internet. As part of the agreement, SecureXperts will work with Bosch to incorporate security processes and to perform independent verification and validation testing that Bosch products are resilient against attack or breach by hackers or unauthorized users.

Federal mandates and industry best practices now require that products integrated into high assurance markets achieve higher levels of protection and compliance to reduce risks and threats. This prevents security vulnerabilities from being exploited for a physical breach of facilities, for exposing information assets to theft or unauthorized disclosure, or for disruption of critical information systems vital for defense, public safety, and national security.

“SecureXperts is excited to bring our industry experience and technology solutions to Bosch and incorporate strong cryptographic standards for identification, multi-factor authentication, and encryption of Bosch IP and HD cameras that are used by government, military, healthcare, financial, enterprise commercial, energy, transportation, industrial, and other regulated markets,” says Darnell Washington, President and Chief Executive Officer, SecureXperts, Inc. “Federal agencies and Enterprise commercial organizations are very concerned about cybersecurity threats created by devices connected to the network that have not undergone formal evaluation and assessment.”

“The use of networked video products is growing rapidly, and as a leading provider of this technology, it is our responsibility to ensure our systems meet stringent cybersecurity standards,” said Dan Reese, Director, Video Products & Systems North America, Bosch Security Systems, Inc. “Working with
SecureXperts brings state of the art technologies to our design and manufacturing processes to ensure Bosch products resist breaches from unauthorized users. Our agreement is central to our efforts to assist US Federal agencies in addressing their next-generation physical cybersecurity requirements – information technology frameworks that over time can be deployed across various security sectors.”
