Southern Miss campus used to test and evaluate system

The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security's staff and four subject matter experts recently used the University of Southern Mississippi’s (USM) campus as the environment for testing and evaluating the MicroPower Technologies Solar Wireless Surveillance System.

The MicroPower system utilizes the characteristics of solar power, low power consumption and wireless transmission to offer an effective, efficient mobile video camera solution. Various camera placement/transmission points were set up around the campus and sent back to a central hub.

SMEs evaluated the system’s performance and associated functions/features while in operation on the USM campus. Click here to view the full report and performance results.
