Webcast to discuss the role for security providers in helping utilities meet these increased requirements

Princeton, NJ (August 27, 2014) − SightLogix President and CEO John Romanowich will moderate a webcast on Wednesday, September 10 at 1:00pm on impending regulations and their impact on owners and operators of the North American electric grid. This Security Industry Association (SIA) webcast will discuss the role for security providers to help utilities meet increased physical security requirements, the potential scope of applicable facilities, an explanation of the timelines for compliance, and details to resolve before the finalization of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulation.

Mr. Romanowich will be joined by Brian Harrell, Director of the Electricity Sector Information Sharing and Analysis Center of NERC and by David Batz, CISSP, Director, Cyber and Infrastructure Security, Edison Electric Institute (EEI).
