Gallagher will showcase its portfolio of integrated access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection solutions at the ASIS International security exhibition in Atlanta, running from September 29 through October 2, 2014. This will mark Gallagher's first appearance at a major exhibition in the U.S. since the company was awarded approved supplier status for its Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Solution.

Founded in the early 1930s in Hamilton, New Zealand by Bill Gallagher Snr, the company has expanded exponentially and has established offices in the United States, Asia and Europe; with a reputation as a leading innovator in perimeter security systems, access control and intruder alarm systems.

A selection of Gallagher's award winning product range will be demonstrated at ASIS, including its integrated PIV Solution, which has been specifically developed for the US market and incorporates Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) compliant functionality. Gallagher is also the first manufacturer to provide an approved PIV solution that doesn't  require additional hardware, or 'authentication' modules to perform the PKI challenge/response and full certificate path validation required for FIPS 201-2 compliance. Proven leaders in this field, this is also the first approved system to meet the 3.5+cm reader range requirement, providing the utmost user flexibility. Further benefits of this integrated system are significant cost savings, minimized device footprint and ease of installation and maintenance.
