Advancements in firmware version 3.29 include:
• Edge Storage: Ensures storage of video, audio, and metadata to an SD card directly in the camera for uninterrupted monitoring if the connection to the VMS is lost. This enhanced functionality enables any ONVIF G compliant VMS to retrieve missing video when network connection is restored for reliable security supervision. Any ONVIF G compliant VMS now has standardized access to storage in the camera to complement head end storage. This capability is advantageous for mission-critical installations, such as at an airport, where edge storage in cameras could be a critical part of the strategic backup plan.
• Lenel Integration Certification: Enables seamless integration for Lenel NVR customers and end users. With this new feature, Pelco has added to its expansive portfolio of IP cameras that are certified for use on the current Lenel NVR version 7.0.
• Versatile and Customizable Features: Available for a variety of markets, including transportation, city surveillance, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and gaming. Smoked domes are now available for Sarix Professional Range cameras to provide customers with an ideal camera option for covert video surveillance. Additionally, Surface Movement Radars (SMR) for IBP Pole Adaptors are now available for Sarix Professional Range and can be color matched to any IBP camera.
