Company announces partnership with SecureNet, unveils $2M infrastructure upgrade

Williamstown, NJ – April 24, 2015:  COPS Monitoring, an industry leading wholesale monitoring provider, revealed details of its ISC West show held April 15-17 in Las Vegas, NV.

On the show floor, COPS announced its new partnership with SecureNet, – a respected and fast-growing provider of IP/GSM/CDMA and remote lifestyle services.  “This alliance provides our dealers with another viable option for the sunset of 2G and POTS,” said Jim McMullen, President and COO of COPS.  “When combined with SecureNet’s useful 'smart home' features, dealers could increase profits and reduce attrition by offering valuable services that customers expect.”

COPS also unveiled details of its recent $2 million infrastructure upgrade.  “This enterprise-level investment not only supports our highly reliable geo-diverse network of central stations,” says McMullen.  “But there was also another reason:  Technology is evolving at a pace faster than ever before, and we wanted to be sure our dealers will be able to use COPS as their foundation for growth for new products and services in the coming years.”

McMullen indicated that COPS is also preparing for the future in another way by expanding its facilities to handle an additional 2 million accounts.  “This expansion allows us to support our growing dealer base over the next few years.  The industry is evolving and expanding quickly for our dealers, and we support their efforts with the same passion as we did when we were founded 37 years ago,” concluded McMullen.

McMullen pointed out that ISC was not “all work” for his team and Dealers; COPS hosted its third annual Dealer Appreciation Bonanza at Gilley’s.  More than 700 dealers and industry friends enjoyed live music, dinner, drinks, contests, and prizes.  The event is widely considered the premier celebration for alarm dealers and integrators during ISC West.  McMullen indicated that COPS would sponsor another dealer appreciation event at ESX in June.
