LILIN launches new mobile video surveillance solution at APTA Bus & Paratransit Conference

Solution features company's mobile recorder, megapixel and panoramic cameras

ARCADIA, CA, APRIL 30, 2015 -- LILIN Americas, an entity of IP video provider Merit LILIN (www.meritlilin.com) serving North, Central and South America, will be introducing at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Bus & Paratransit Conference its new Mobile Transportation Solution featuring the company's new EN50155 mobile recorder geared for use on bus, paratransit and other transportation vehicles. In addition, LILIN will be bringing to APTA its recently launched 5MP FD2452V-M12 Panoramic 360 camera and 2MP IPD6220-M12 camera series, both designed for on-board video surveillance.

The American Public Transportation Association Bus & Paratransit Conference is scheduled for May 5, 2015, at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The LILIN solution includes the 8 channel mobile recorder with removable HDD tray, optional GPS module for integrating Google® mapping, Backup manager software and LILIN NAVIGATOR® recording software at the head end. When used in a wireless environment, video offloading to the  recorder is possible. Users can also record on an optional SD card and offload video wirelessly to the recorder using the SD Card video sync function. This new recorder ideally fits the transportation market with its extended functionality and low MSRP of $999 (USD). Hard drive is sold separately. The mobile recorder supports the LILIN 10" multi touch monitor which adds convenience when space doesn't allow for keyboard and mouse.

Also introduced at the show will be a suite of new LILIN mobile cameras featuring high compression at 2-3mbps which saves 50 - 60% over standard IP cameras offered in the market. The company's new EN50155 rated mobile cameras are ONVIF profile S compliant and integrate with many of the VMS software programs used in control rooms by City and State agencies today.
